I am God.
If anything had ever rocked my boat before in all
my life, it was nothing compared to this. I was scared to even think of it. But
the truth is, we are all God.
The offspring of beast is beast. The offspring of bird is
bird. The offspring of fruit is fruit. The offspring of flower is flower. The
offspring of fish is fish. The offspring of man is man. The offspring of God is God. And just like all the other examples that we are familiar with, the
offspring of God matures slowly but surely, irrespective of how long it takes,
and finally becomes like God.
We are all the image and likeness of God,
regardless of all the separatist factors that we have applied to our existence
here on earth, like race, gender, religion, denomination, level of education,
family background, sexuality...the list is endless. No one is any less than the other. And
what being God means is that we have the nature, characteristics and ability of God.
We are only currently limited by the flesh
that clothes us, and our by souls that have various phases of development to
complete.
There is so much we need to understand about the truth from
deep within us. For it is this truth that affects everything in the world
around us. Nothing from within us is really strange, be they desires, needs or
feelings. They only seem untrue because we have over time shut (or been taught
to shut) our outside world to the reality of certain aspects of the Truth, and
then decided that they don't exist. And so whenever we catch ourselves
expressing something long suppressed, we tell ourselves it's not
us, it's unusual, it's strange. This is stupidity. And this is sin: not willing to confront
the fullness of who we truly are; thereby not coming to terms with God (never discovering God), and thus constantly running from our own selves; all the
while believing that if we are not living the way that someone else is living,
then we are not living right. I tell you, whatever proceeds from the spirit is
true, because it is from God. The lie comes, when we begin to twist the truth
within us to conform to the world around us.
